Romans 12. Things to ponder while packing and having your vision narrowed to that departure date in eight days. Keeps the perspective.
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

Can i just say, the NIV version is so strange?
"Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is"

It confused me.

Some encouragement:
"Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness."

"Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; 7if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; 8the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads,[f] with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness."

Reminder: love your family, because you get random reminders that they are awesome. Like this:

Just when it seemed like the next month of finishing class, packing, buying textbooks and trying to see everyone before flying out, I was completely revitalized by a wonderful weekend spending time with wonderful people. I had my productive moments, but was able to go to the Viking with some friends for trivia night on Saturday and then to Waitts lake on Sunday afternoon. God is so good. I got to spend a lot of time with a friend I hadn't spent time with since sophomore year and laughed so, so much.

Praise you, Lord. Thanks :)
